Graphic recording is similar to mind mapping, but is distinct and particularly useful for work in a group setting. A graphic recorder uses iconographic images that create a map of group discussions and individual presentations in real time. It can provide focus for group brainstorming, and aid concentration by capturing and organizing their ideas. These visual records have particular value for visual and spatial learners, but it is a useful tool for everyone in a group.
