The Student Experience

Intensive, hands on, fast paced, academically rigorous summer programs, featuring speakers who are experts in their fields.

Admission to Henderson Summer is competitive, and the experience is intensive - both academically and socially.

Every summer a number of students from the Clark County School District in Nevada and the Adams-12, Boulder Valley and St. Vrain School Districts in Colorado are awarded full scholarships after submitting applications that must pass a rigorous evaluation process.

At the summer program, students will find like-minded, thoughtful, curious and intelligent peers. The experience will send them back to school with a renewed drive to succeed.

Our small student-to-teacher ratio allows personalized interaction from award-winnning and nationally recognized educators.

Henderson Education graphic recording intiative offers the students dynamic and sophisticated learning tools that can readilly be applied in their practical learning applications.

Henderson Education is committed to the classic formulation of mind, body and spirit. A formal program of physical education is fully integrated into each day.

The students in our programs have already distinguished themselves in the classroom. We give them additional resources to develop and take advantage of their drive and ability. With the intensity of the summer program there is no need for homework.

Students also have the benefit of being introduced to an academic advisor. Our advisor helps students make course selections, develop test taking skills, and identify enrichment resources and consider college offerings.
